Some words from Dr. Pess:

"I think progressive American Hand Surgeons are getting interested in NA, because they are unsatisfied with the long term results of traditional surgery. Some of us like to think out of the box and try techniques which don't go along with the conventional view we were taught. Don't expect a wave of new Hand Surgeons doing NA. Most Hand Surgeons are very conservative and traditional! And I strongly caution patients to make sure their doctor is a true Hand Surgeon, Board Certified (Added qualifications in Hand Surgery), and experienced in the technique (Paris training is best!)

I went to Paris worked there for a week and was very impressed with the results. This supported my desire to continue to do NA and expand my indications for the technique. I have always been interested in minimally invasive techniques and invented a knife for percutaneous trigger release surgery."
